Applications & Uses

• Priming steel, iron, and general metalwork

• Preparation for intumescent coatings

• Home, garden, commercial, industrial, and marine metalwork

• Ideal for use on old or new metal surfaces

Preparation

• Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and loose material

• Sand down any flaking paint or corrosion to create a smooth surface

• For non-ferrous or galvanised metals, apply Mordant Solution or Etch Primer first

• Stir thoroughly before use

Application

• Apply using a brush, roller, or spray equipment

• Apply evenly in thin coats for best coverage

• Allow sufficient drying time between coats

• Two coats recommended for maximum protection

Drying & Curing

• Touch Dry: 15 minutes

• Overcoating Time: 2–4 hours

• Full Cure: Allow 24 hours before heavy handling or exposure
